Memphis Elite Tryouts
Memphis Elite is the largest and most successful cheer and dance program in the Mid-South area serving over 400 athletes within a season. As a non-profit - 501(c) 3 corporation, Memphis Elite is the only gym in the country that offers college scholarships to its members for years of participation. Our staff prides itself on developing our athletes physically, mentally, and emotionally. We are excited about celebrating our 19th year in 2010 and hope you choose to be a part of our family.
Our tryout process is low key and very relaxed. All candidates will be given the opportunity to showcase their skills in an audition type setting. All cheer prospects will be placed on a team among other candidates their own age and skill level. Cheer Auditions daily. Our goal is to have teams for every age and experience level, so all candidates will be placed on a team. Rosters will be created based on this level of skill. Program Costs
Competitive cheerleading, while not as costly as some youth activities, can still be an expensive sport. Entry fees to competitions have risen to hundreds of dollars per athlete. Before you consider this or any other program, please carefully consider the financial commitment involved.
At Memphis Elite, our monthly tuition is an "all inclusive" price that covers practically all of the expenses that an athlete would normally incur throughout the year. This price includes: tuition, entry fees for local and national competitions, choreography, music, uniforms, and many other expenses. This system makes financial planning much easier for our customers. This amount does not include: camp, practice clothes, team gifts, lodging, and additional out of town travel. Other gyms may look less expensive on the front end, only to hit you with additional costs at the end or just plain nickel and dime you to death.
Deposit: - $200.00 - (non-refundable)
This deposit follows you throughout the season - late fees and returned checks are deducted from this deposit. Balance of deposited is credited back at the end of season. If you quit or are dismissed you forfeit this deposit.
Tuition: - uniforms provided - (except dance hip hop)
Youth - Junior - Varsity squads:
Plan A - $175.00 per month - pay as you go - your responsible for competition fees, etc.
Plan B - $275.00 per month - includes competition fees/uniforms
Plan C - $375.00 per month - includes competition fees, practice gear, no football game, no ads/sales
PEEWEE - TINY CHEER
Plan D - $140.00 per month - (may - february) - includes competition fees/uniforms
all plans are eligible to work events at the redbirds, forum, and stadium to offset monthly costs. events will be split monthly by the workers involved - no required monthly events!
